Mi Casa Su Casa

Street scene near our casa. Typical run down but elegant houses.

The most uncomfortable bed we have ever paid to sleep in. Come on Obama let them have new beds. Kel slept wrong way round to avoid the lumps.

Does my car look big in this? Yes this is the living room of one of the casas we stayed in, doubling as a garage.

The Malecon on a sunny afternoon. Everyone gathers here to eat, snog, talk, fish and people watch.

The Malecon in Cuba and Cancun

Hi everyone, from Habana, Cuba, which we are enjoying, but also finding challenging.
The above photo is of the view from our very beautiful 5 star hotel, which we moved to as the one on our tour was so bad. I can see why people come to Cancun, the water is the most beautiful torquoise colour I have ever seen. Kel and I have just seen the photos of the floods in Brisbane, and are hoping that our friends and family are all okay. Internet access is very poor in Habana but we would love to hear how everyone is going. It feels so far away here. Our thoughts are with you all in Brisbane.

The is the waterfront in downtown Habana. This is just a normal rainy, windy day on the Malecon, with the waves crashing over the road.
