Navajo National Monument

We were literally the only tourists here at this National Park. Yes, it was freezing.

but the view was amazing. This pueblo is an ancient village, built into the side of a cliff face, that was vacated because of a 20 year drought.

  1. Dear Kel n Shell,
I have been squizzing your site but did not know about Google accounts till Yude wised us up.Yr trip looks fascinating. Glad you are both 'giving it one'. Hope you had a happy Xmas. We raised several glasses to you both and now you are to blame. Had a very happy couple of nights at Lario's and Michelle cooked up delicious food served on pretty Xmassy table setting (one worry was the slanted-bottomed water glasses which were a good early warning device).- not eating until now until next year!Look forward to our vicarious enjoyment of your trip.
    love,
